SL IMPRESSES AT AGROMEK
Danish farmers got their first chance to see the SL when it featured on the stand of Agrovo, our importer to the country, at Agromek. Dealer principal Lars Nielsen says farmers were impressed with the machine:
“Many farmer visitors quickly realised the value and quality of the machine. The majority share our view that it is really a machine of the future, with tines and discs combined in the same machine rather than run in two machines.
In Denmark we are seeing a big movement towards bigger farms; many have almost doubled their farmed areas in recent years, and they simply do not have the resources to plough everything any more because it would take too much time in a busy season, so they are looking to used tined cultivators and work up to eight inches deep”.
The machine shown at Agromek was fitted with an oilseed rape applicator, which is also of great interest to Danish farmers:
About 25% of oilseeds in Denmark are now established this way. The pioneers started doing it three years ago, and every year its popularity grows”
Following the show Agrovo sold one 5m model and is awaiting completion of another 7m machine.
