EVANS JOINS SIMBA TEAM
Mark Evans
Simba is further expanding its European export staff with the appointment of Mark Evans as Territory Manager. He will be working primarily across the Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - and Poland.
Mark (35) has a range of relevant experience, having previously worked with Case as Field Service Advisor in Ukraine and Uzbekistan. A farmer’s son, he worked on farms in the UK and Australia, and gained a National Diploma in Agriculture from Moreton Morrell College, Warwickshire.
He joins Simba from Lemken UK, for whom he was Area Service Manager for South West England, his responsibilities also covering sales in Ireland: “I am very excited to be joining such a well respected company in such a challenging role”.
Simon Revell, Simba’s Exports Director, said: “Mark’s appointment will help us develop and support our expanding export markets. We currently plan to make some 300 SL cultivators by the end of 2008, and around half of those are due to be exported, so it is important to build a strong, professional team to support these machines”.
