MULTIPLE OPTIONS FROM SIMBA
Simba is offering purchasers a range of options – including one that enables them to design their own repayment plan – under its new 2006/7 Finance Scheme, which is being offered exclusively through NFU Mutual Finance Limited.
This option is designed to help purchasers select a repayment schedule that best suits their individual farm cashflow, enabling the purchase costs to be offset against crop receipts, Single Farm Payments or other income as appropriate.
The “Monthly Repayment” option is designed to meet the needs of the growing number of mixed farmers buying the less expensive cultivators and drills Simba now offers, alongside the well known “Buy Early, Pay Late” option that has proved very popular in previous years.
These options recognise the changing nature of many farm businesses, says Guy Leversha, Simba’s Sales Director: “Our customer base is being drawn from an ever wider range of farm types – including many medium sized mixed units, who have a diverse range of income streams, so these options are designed to meet their needs.
“We expect the “Buy Early, Pay Late” option will again be popular with arable farmers, as they can match payments with the expected receipt dates of Single Farm Payments, although we have incorporated a generous time margin in the system!
“The scheme offers interest-free finance and rewards early orders. For those confirmed in October 2006, 50% payment is due in June 2007 and 50% in June 2008. November 2006 orders are due in May 2007 and 2008, and those for December 2006 in April 2007”.
In addition, all Solo purchasers will receive a Penetrometer with the machine, so they can test the physical state of their soils before and after cultivation, while on Solo 450 and 600 models front covering disc units will be fitted as standard.
On the “Monthly Repayment” option, purchasers pay the equivalent of two monthly payments at the time of purchase, and then 16 further single monthly payments starting next summer on the same basis as the “Buy Early, Pay Late” option.
