Coulter Options
The Duett coulter works very well
in all seedbed conditions.
As the coulter passes through the soil a firm pad is formed by the underside of the coulter. The seed is then evenly spread in a 175mm band on this pad and the soil is firmed on top. The Duett coulter is used for the PPF system (Precision Placement of Fertiliser).
The Delta coulter is suited for trashy conditions. The point raises the straw and the seed is placed evenly in a band in the tilth underneath the straw.
The Solo coulter is designed for drilling beans to a depth of up to 15cm (6”). The coulter is a single outlet version of the Duett and gives a 25cm (10”) row spacing. The seed is placed into a loose friable tilth.
