Drill Manager ME

Drill Manager ME.

The Simba Horsch Drill Manager ME has been designed to control all the functions on the drill. The Drill Manager is a fully electronic system, which is capable of controlling up to four individual metering units used for either seed, liquid fertiliser, solid fertiliser, or a combination of both.

The single control now allows the bout marker functions to be set from the cab which allows the operator to select the same marker required to go out when for example drilling a headland.

The front cultivation discs are now connected into a seperate spool valve to allow the operator to adjust the depth on the move. The control box can monitor record and control up to four hopper level sensors, two area meters, a weight counter, tramline rhythms and the Simba Horsch Seedflow sensor.

The system has an electronically driven metering unit linked directly to a ground radar sensor. This gives exceptionally accurate metering. The seed rate can be adjusted on the move and linked into a GPS System if required.
Calculating and setting the rates for seed and fertiliser is very simple. The desired rate is programmed into the Drill Manager. The metering unit is then run until a large enough sample for weighing purposes has been collected. The sample is weighed and the data is then entered into the Drill Manager. The computer then regulates the speed of the metering unit for the application rate.

The system is built on a Can Bus design making it simple and uncomplicated. The system is also designed for ISOBUS with some optional accessories.
