Scrapers
Simba's range of Scrapers have a wide range of land formation and maintenance functions, and enable users to move and level a wide range of loose materials, with a choice of pressing units being available to prove a consolidated, levelled finish where the application demands.
Bottomless Box Scrapers
These are best suited to confined areas (sports fields, small fields) or where extremely accurate grades/finishes are required, such as for maintaining all weather racetracks.
Carry-All Ejector Scrapers
These models can pick and carry a significant volume of soil for some distance, and can be used to construct farm reservoirs, or build road embankments with material transported from another site.
Wheeled Scrapers
These are simple models which can strip and carry material for lesser distances, and are much used in projects such as dam construction, railway maintenance and similar projects.
As relatively small units (2.5m - 3.0m) - and requiring a hitch and hydraulic power supply - these scrapers can be towed behind a variety of tractors, or other vehicles such as dumper trucks. Different additional elements can be fitted to suit individual tasks, and all models can be used with laser levelling equipment to ensure a high degree of accuracy.
For tasks which involve working and levelling coarse material, such as railway track maintenance, leading scarifying tines can be fitted. The Scraper can then restore the cross-fall camber required, with a rear uninflated roller adding a final finish to the job. The width of the implement can be adjusted hydraulically to take account of different widths and pitches.
For agricultural applications, such as levelling soil ahead of sowing carrots, the implement can leave a levelled finish which ensures that the crop can be drilled accurately, and also facilitates crop irrigation and weed control via control of the water table.
