Combines a consistent high quality finish with effective loosening
The new SLD is a deeper working version of the SL cultivator. It incorporates some of the principles of the well-proven and ever-popular Solo, and bridges the gap between the two machines.
PRO-LIFT TINES AND PRO-ACTIVE DISCS

Equipped with Pro-Lift hydraulic reset tines that work down to depths of up to 300mm and a DD rear roller, the SLD leaves an excellent level finish, while also performing an effective loosening operation. One row of serrated discs ahead of the tines and another row following the tines ahead of the DD roller chop and mix the surface trash. Manufactured from boron steel to give extended working life they are 600mm (24”) in diameter. Each disc is mounted on a Pro-Active leaf spring allowing better contour following and improved stone protection. The discs working angle can be adjusted using a track rod system operated by a single handle giving stepless change.
Rear DD Roller
The soil is consolidated at the rear of the machine with the latest DD roller featuring 700mm rings at a spacing of 230mm. This arrangement not only firms the ground to depth but also leaves a fine, level tilth. A lower scraper between each pair of rings ensures that any blockages in damp conditions are minimised.
