Effective soil and stubble mixing
Simba Horsch's Terrano FG and FX cultivators perform an effective straw/stubble mixing operation, while also levelling the seedbed and leaving it ready for drilling with little or no further cultivation.
FG cultivators - 6, 8, 10 and 12m wide - are all trailed units while the 3m and 4m FX Cultivators are fully mounted. The 5m and 6m are also trailed.
Both ranges feature Simba Horsch's robust TerraGrip shanks, which maintain accurate working depth at anything between 5cm - 20cm, but can trip clear of the soil to avoid damage caused by stones and obstructions, before automatically re-setting in work, so the quality of the cultivation and work-rate are both optimised.
A choice of points are available, including ClipOn points facilitating accurate, even cultivations. The shanks are positioned at 30cm spacings, so by using 32 cm wide points it is possible to ensure cultivation of the entire seedbed, even when working at the shallowest depth settings.

The steep angled Mulch Mix points are better suited to more intensive, deeper working cultivations and where larger volumes of trash/stubble/spread straw might need to be incorporated.
FG cultivators feature a three bar following harrow which performs a final levelling operation and ensures even spread of any trash remaining on the soil surface. The working angles of the tines and the spacing of the three bars are both adjustable. A rear drawbar is offered as an option to tow a suitable following press, such as the rubber tyred UniPack or Simba Unipress with DD Rings.
On the FX cultivators the TerraGrip shanks are followed with a set of levelling discs which complete the cultivation and trash mixing action ahead the Simba DD Lite, which consolidates the seedbed and leaves it weatherproof and ready for drilling.
