Simba International Ltd is the UK’s most innovative cultivation and seeding company.
Market leading products such as Cultipresses and SL Cultivators have underpinned the company's rapid growth in recent years and enabled Simba to establish a strong foothold throughout Europe. More recently the DTX cultivator, only introduced in 2009, and other new products planned for launch this year will ensure that this growth will continue in 2010 and beyond.
This strategy highlights the importance of Product Development within the company and also the Service Support that is then required to back up the equipment in field.
To ensure that this momentum is maintained going forward we are looking for two additional people to extend and develop our team further.
CAD Engineer
The successful candidate will work within the Engineering department working closely with the other team members on the current and next generation of our industry leading products. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will have experience of working in 2D and 3D design with a good understanding of current drafting techniques and industry standards. You will have good knowledge of detailing welded structures and material selection. Experience in test rig design and durability test procedures would be viewed as a real advantage.
You should be a good communicator, able to function as part of a team, and be able to work under your own initiative and be focused on working to offer a quality product.

Technical Service Engineer (Northern UK)
The position will be responsible for delivery of high quality technical support to our dealer network across the north of England and Scotland. You will work closely within our existing After sales Support team and be responsible for all technical, training and warranty issues. The role will require an ability to communicate at all levels with a positive attitude and build long-term dealer network relationships.
This position would ideally suit an individual from a strong technical and customer relations background
